Evidilo

bank statement to excel

The rows of a bank statement as a file Excel opens, with the sign and the date canonical and the balance check before the download.

The conversion returns CSV or QBO. A CSV file opens in Excel and in any spreadsheet, and QBO is the one format QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online and Xero all accept. The Excel export itself is not built yet.

Where a statement still comes from a file

Evidilo does not replace a bank connection. It returns a file your accounting program imports, and it calls no bank or accounting-program API. Where the connection does not reach is where a statement has to be uploaded by hand:

  • History from before the date the connection was made, because a connection does not fill backwards
  • Accounts the aggregator will not connect, and closed accounts
  • Banks outside the aggregator's coverage
  • Clients who refuse a connection, or have no way to make one
