Turn a PDF, a scan or a CSV of a US bank statement into a file QuickBooks and Xero import, checked against the balances the bank printed.
Every page of the statement is read, and the rows come back as date, description, counterparty, amount and running balance. The balance check compares the rows with the opening and closing balances the bank printed, so a statement that does not tie out is shown as off before you download it, and its pages are not counted.

Where a statement still comes from a file
Evidilo does not replace a bank connection. It returns a file your accounting program imports, and it calls no bank or accounting-program API. Where the connection does not reach is where a statement has to be uploaded by hand:
- History from before the date the connection was made, because a connection does not fill backwards
- Accounts the aggregator will not connect, and closed accounts
- Banks outside the aggregator's coverage
- Clients who refuse a connection, or have no way to make one
